Normally when things sound too good to be true they usually are, not in this case!
Obviously there is high demand for this but throughout the year lucky charities win a free 5 page website. So have a good read over everything below and apply at the bottom of the page. We look forward to reading each and every application.
So why are we giving away free websites?
There are a lot of good causes and charities out there that can't spare the funding to get themselves a decent online presence that is going to work for them.
Many people offer "websites" but a website that works for you usually costs good money.
We want to try and give any good cause or charity a helping hand by giving them the first phase of their website for free, then if they have funds available to have a bit more work done, everyone wins!

Who can apply?
The invitation is open to any charity or good cause in the UK. You don't necessarily have to be a large group, it may be something you do on your own but if it's a non-profit service for the good of others then you are eligible.
We'll be up front from the start!! This isn't an open ended never ending story..... but we want to give something back so the following pages are included free of charge.

What's included in your free website?
Homepage design
- Sell, sell, sell that charity!!
- Let the online world know exactly who you are, what you do and why you exist.
- Colour scheme and imagery in keeping with any existing charity branding.
- This page will be a professional, interesting, informative middle man - charity meet donators, donators meet charity!
About us page design
- Tell your visitors how the charity or cause came to exist along with its history.
- Let users know who runs the charity, maybe photos and biographies of the team members?
- A good place to re-emphasis your services and what the charity is all about as well as push why you need donations from the public, leading them nicely into your donations page!.
Donations
- Allow users to submit fundraising monies or sponsorship money online.
- Take general donations from website visitors.
- Paypal and all major banking and online payments systems can be built in.
- *Note that all online payments may be subject to charges dependant on your bank.
Blog page design
- Keep your website fresh which will help the site get returned in relevant search results.

Further Information
- Apart from the blog page all the above are static pages meaning you wouldn't be able to update them yourself. Going forward you have two options. The first is to pay for us to develop a content management system for you (CMS). The cost of this would depend on which areas of the site you wanted to be able to amend.
The second option would be to just pay us on an ad-hoc basis as and when changes are required, we'll just hard code them onto the page.
- Any additional pages that you wanted on the site would be priced at our normal rates.
- As stated above the invitation is open UK wide but if you are not from the Cardiff and South Wales area then you will need to travel down to see us.
- If you are unable to provide suitable imagery then we will purchase the first 5 images for you from a quality image stock supplier, after that you would pay normally at a cost of between £10 and £20 per image.
- The source code for the website would remain property of Space on White and cannot be transferred away from our hosting package.

The top and bottom of the offer is that if you just want a 5 page website that will rarely require updating then this deal is perfect for you as this is what you get completely free of charge along with 1 years free hosting.
If you have a budget then you can get the above for free and then pay to have additional pages added if this is so required.
